What kind of ant from New Zealand?

I'm in New Zealand where I'm struggling to find any information that isn't about how best to kill ants, so I'm completely lost. I found what I think is a drone with a weirdly big head, but I have no idea what species it is. Can anyone let me know, and bonus points if you can confirm whether it's a drone or a skinny Queen.
