Please help me figure out what species this is!!!

I'm not sure wether or not this is even a ant to be honest! I'm actually kind of worried it might be a wingless wasp. If anyone can figure this out, I would like to know, is it a queen? For now, I'll give a description until I can post a picture. It's an orange, reddish, dark color with a black outline, and it has white stripes on the black end of its abdomen. It s color and shade is consistent throughout and it head is black. No it's not a velvet ant, the legs (sorry I forgot the proper term) aren't puffy and the texture doesn't match.
