Is she a queen?

Found her on the pavement (sidewalk) in a Brooklyn (NYC) neighborhood. Usually they aren't this big so I am wondering if its a queen. I was returning home from my workout

And if it is a queen can someone identify it? I can't really focus on it with my phone camera

also when i was outside i had nothing to capture the ant in so i made it go on my hand between hands so i can keep track of it. From what I can tell it moves pretty fast

I'm not from US and I'm not an expert but that looks like a Camponotus sp. worker to me, not a queen. Camponotus queens are actually quite big (my Camponotus Barbaricus queen is about 1.7 cm = 0.67 inches)

additional note: it can walk upside down. It walked upside down in the test tube, because when I placed the test tube on my arm in order for it to go inside it was able to walk while it was upside down on the outer surface of the test tube. May help in identification of species as well as whether or not is a soldier, worker or an alate
