Ant Identification

Hello! I'm very new to the ant keeping game and I don't know if this is a queen or a worker, it looks like a queen but I dont know. Any and all info helps thanks!

can you take a clear pic of the top of the ant? im pretty sure its a camponatous spp

Yeah, I found this ant when I was at my friends cabin on the far north side of the Shuswap lake if that helps.

im like 90% its a camponotus pennsylvanicus queen, or carpenter ant. keep her in a test tube setup. it should take around 2 months for her eggs to become workers
