Hi, I'm new to the forums, so sorry if the urls are bad, if they are, let me know- Anyway, I just caught 3 different species of ants, and I'm not sure what they are. If you would like more pictures, I'll hook you up! I'm thinking they're some sort of lasius or crematogaster sp. Nope they don't work
Proverbs 6:6-8

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

These are addresses on your Windows computer which we have no access to. They must be uploaded to an image host site like Flickr.

Okay to me pics
1-3 Lasius sp.
4.Lasius murphyi or another lasius social parasite regardless
5-6 Lasius sp
7 is REALLY blurry but if I had to put a guess probably another Lasius social parasite but I have been off my identifying all year ants seem to elude me... so wait for confirmations and or other ids
Ants are life's most successful invaders. Understand and respect that power.

The two orange-ish social parasite queens are Lasius latipes. The rest are claustral Lasius which cannot be identified without close macro.
