new genus for me, please help identify
finally i caught a "not solenopsis"
this morning at 8am i saw this queen checking out my flower pots, as you can see she is full to the brim with eggs, and she got right too it (7 eggs present 9 hours later when i went to take the picture) this leadsme to believe she did not fly today, likely had to move due to lots of rain yesterday.
she is about 5mm long and nearby are several ant sculptures of the crater variety (sometimes on sides) and a clear hole in the middle. They are orangey red with yellow gasters. if she is a forelius ant, that be cool.

Forelius sp probably Pruinosus.
An ants' strength can be rivaled by few animals compared to relative body size.

does that mean she was likely trying to expand the other colonies in the area?
is she fully claustral? (my main sources of info arent telling me )
heres a pic of another colony in the area.

thank you.
is there a source of info you would recommend so i dont have to ask questions for every tiny thing.
right now i am immersed in AC, delving into antswiki.com for genus and species specific info, and using the formiculture nuptial flight charts.

It depends on what your looking for. I personally don't use Ant Wiki as it is generally inaccurate; instead try Ant Web. But really it comes down to what you are looking for.

thank you ill use antweb
here is another image of the nearby ant colonies that may or may not be related.
(or may or may not be Forelius and or Dorymyrmex.)
im getting a new lens soon so that will make this easier.
