Hi guys, I'm a beginner ant keeper living in Singapore. I caught this ant a couple of days ago in a park. I need some help identifying whether or not it is a queen ant and what species it is. Thanks! :D

BTW some data:
Ant is 1 cm long, is totally black and still has its wings on.

Unable to upload image. Strange. Sorry for the inconvenience! :P

Definitely a queen, hard to tell species as I'm not from Singapore but I would guess a formica species or maybe camponotus? They most noticeable thing though is she still has wings so she might not be mated. I would keep her for about a week maybe 2. If she doesn't lay any eggs i would release her.

The presence of wings does not mean that she hasn't mated. Plenty of queens never shed their wings, and go on to raise sucessful colonies. Others shed their wings and either die before laying eggs, or lay eggs that hatch into males, which also means she hadn't mated... Which brings me to my second point, laying eggs also doesn't mean she mated. You just have to wait till they hatch.
Proverbs 6:6-8

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
