I caught it in canada alberta red deer. Its also around 5 mm. And also is it a queen ant?? :) I have had it for about 3 months and i dont think it has laid any eggs. I thought i saw eggs once but the white dots dissapeard. It has scars on the back and a big bum. Still alive lol. Trying to move her to another tube cause the one shes in is gone moldy...... just moved her.

It looks like a queen (judging from what you said and the fact that her gaster looks large) and if she did lay eggs I would feed her some honey because it would seem like you stressed her out and she ate her eggs
