So I found this queen walking in my garden alone. I have no idea what she is (maybe lasius niger) she is around 6mm and she doesn’t want any water or honey. She dosnt move much and I am stumped on what to do. I have kept her in a dark draw for 24h + and she isn’t laying any eggs is drinking or having any honey and not moving much.

And this is a set up I have her in, water and a small drop of honey near the entrance.

I can only look at about half of the pictures, the other ones need permission.
From what i can see it does look like a Lasius sp. But i think 6mm is a bit small for L. niger...
Maybe someone else can tell you more

Thanks for the reply! It is bigger then 6mm I was checking roughly because I didn’t want to disturb her too much
