My fire ant queen died

I gave her everything she needed. She laid eggs, then she died. What could have happened? :cry: :cry:

I’m very sorry to hear that. I hope you catch a new fire ant queen. If it makes you feel better, I had a fire ant queen too and she died, but I found another one and now she has Nanitics.

You probably didn't do anything wrong. Every year for the past five years I catch several queens and half of them don't make it all the way. All you can do is give them a good dark place to thrive. Make sure the set up is clean and the room is the right temperature. Sorry about your queen, hope you try again and have better luck!
