trap jaw queen died

I had my trap jaw queen in a container with an open top, test tube buried in sand, went away for the weekend and come back to black crazy ants swarmed in the container, trap jaw queen dead. 
So I followed the tracks and found their queen and today Im going to capture her and the brood, they are nesting in an old press board cabinet, I lifted the laminate and there they are.
also no more open top containers
