Pest control, the educational systems, sometimes televised outlets (think AntsCanada YouTube vids, for instance), naturalist/research field studies... Some career areas that come to mind. You can study them all you want. Making a career out of it will take some finagling/work/doing. Ant keeping should be an excellent insight into all aspects, though. Good luck!

Re: How to start studying Myrmecology
So I’m in the process of making an entomology lab and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy dead ants to study and display.
Re: How to start studying Myrmecology
Are you talking about exotic dead ants because if you just want dead ants i think you can just go outside and find some.

Re: How to start studying Myrmecology
well i know that there are several places that ship exotic ants, but that's illegal in the U.S. but If you just want workers that would work you might be able too contact some ant stores about it, and i know it's legal because you can buy messor workers on amazon.
