K, I have watched AntsCanada's feeding video, but need some specific answers.
Anyone feed canned bugs? I was looking at Fluker's brand. They offer crickets, meal worms, and grasshoppers (on Amazon). Is this a good alternative to live insects? I cannot get a regular supply of live insects (no reliable pet stores), and would rather not raise stinky feeders .
What is the best sugars source? Honey or fruit or something else? Is unfiltered honey better?
How do I know when I'm not feeding enough?

Any Insects In General, Smell Quite Badly.

Any sugar source is fine. ( as long as it is not artificially sweetened) Unfiltered honey is no better for ants than cheap bottom of the line honey. IT would be a waste of money to get the fancy unfiltered honey for insects. You cannot "overfeed" ants. When they need food, they will take it. When they don't need food, they will ignore it.
