Meat sticks for cats as ant food.

If I can get a colony started I am going to try feeding them the meat sticks that are meant for cats. The sticks are quite soft, so I hope the ants can eat them.

Has anyone tried this? And did the ants eat them.

I have had quite a success with the meaty sticks for cats. Most of my queens have eaten the tiny bit that was offered. 1 has left the nest and dragged it inside. Then broken it up (possibly for larva).
