hey so i want to feed my very small lasius niger colony some meat/proteins, next to the honey theyve been getting already. fruitflies arent really around yet bc it is not hot enough yet in my area. I found a millipede but i am not sure if it's suitable. Any of you guys know? I would cut it open for them ofcourse to make it a little easier. Can i give them the millipede?

I would say it is, just double check to see if there is any pesticides.

Depends on the species of millipede and where you found it, some millipeds are toxic and some even spray cyanide. Also make sure the area you collect them does not spray pesticides.

It depends where you caught it. If you know where you caught it does not get sprayed, then it's fine.
