Hello!
We have a camponotus colony of ants (we live in Michigan) that has stopped eating.
The setup is a formicarium and outworld. We had been putting honey and mealworms in the outworld and they had been eating from that for a few months. The ants are no longer eating mealworms. We have tried replacing the mealworms we have with different kinds of mealworms in case the old ones were bad. The amount of honey they have eaten has gone down a lot.
Right now they seem to have eggs, but no brood.
We are worried about them. Are we doing anything wrong?
Best wishes,
Jenn

Feed them something else, if you feed them the same thing for some time, they will eventually get bored of eating it and will only accept other foods.

Thank you. We will give rotating foods a try!
