No they like their natural meats usually. It helps them grow faster. Also give them natrul carbohydrates.

but you can still give them some protein jelly, just not as their main food source.

What kind of natural meats and carb would you suggest. I have been feeing mine meal worms and other inverterbrates.
any ideas for a nice varid diet

The bee pollen I offered my harvester ants was accepted, so we'll see!

I have started feeding mine
Fruit like bannana, tomatos and cucumber
any un processsed meat with nothing added including fish
Eggs.
And then insects and some jelly
I swap it out every 2 days before it starts going dry and really they eat what i eat (+ insects and jelly)
Just try to keep it all natual, no additives and if they seem to like it make a note as one of the things they eat.
I not sure what foods if any are poisions to ants, but been find so far.
