Protein for Camponotus ants

What can I give my ants for protein? I give them crickets and sometimes mealworms. Can they have chicken or eggs?

I have one colony that will eat damned near anything, and another that is so stupidly picky that they'll only eat this liquid goop I can't identify that I got off the internet. My advice is try different foods and see what they like. Egg whites have been recommended several times, but I would highly recommend cooked egg whites. Liquid will make a mess and likely grow something unsavory. Remember, we make vaccines by growing viruses in egg culture medium!
