cabbage or brocalli is their food or letuce at a push, infact one of the catipillars i have in a jar has worked out his fate and has decided to escape it by spinning a silk coccoon. pic to follow.

Some insects are pesticide resistant. This means that they can consume pesticides without dying. If ants eat them when they still have pesticides in their bodies, the pesticides can kill the ants.
