Formica Diets

So I have a new Formica colony going about and as far as feeding goes, sugar is fine but protein has been odd. I provide feeder crickets to them but I would like to know if other protein sources are good for them as well, if any of you have any tips, that will be helpful.

Try boiled eggs, meat or protien jelly
Ants I have-
camponotus compressus colony- the shadow warriors.
Pls just let me have a tetramorium colony
