Test tube portal feeding
I recently put my ants in a test tube portal but they dont seem to interested in moving out of there original tube or eat anything am I doing something wrong?

Often small colonies go through periods when they don't need much. Just give them time and they should be fine.
First year and already enjoying it!

I also wanted to move one of my queens from a moldy test tube but she's not getting out even with light on her should i just wait?

Yes, the ants will know when it's getting out of hand and will move.

I have learned patients is a major must with ants, I got impatient and worried that my queen and workers were not moving from there moldy test tube so I tried the heat wire trick. ( wrapping heating wire around tube)
About 10 mins later all but the queen and two workers were dead.
It's a horrible feeling when you find out you almost lost your pet ants do to impatients. Just hang in there may take days hours or even weeks. But they know better then we do with what they need.
