So I have a campanotus colony with 7 workers. They are in a fresh water test tube with an AC portal and a sugar water test tube. I feed them once a week, usually half of a cricket or some legs. but about a month ago I notcied they kind of stopped eating. I am still replcaing
the food every week so it does not get moldy, but I am concernd. Threy also do not seem very active, and dont really come out of there tube. Maybe they are starting to hibrenate early? Any ideas why? Thanks! oh and they do have slighlty swollen gasters as well, if that helps.

Re: anst wont eat?
They are preparing for hibernation or they already have some food stored up so they don't need to forage as often.

Does are repletes, they are workers that store extra food in their abdomens for the colony.RaylaIsBest wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 4:46 pmoh and they do have slighlty swollen gasters as well, if that helps.
