Hi, I am new to ant keeping and have a Camponotus pennsylvanicus queen and 5 workers. I have watched many of AntsCanada's videos on how to care for the ants, and I have read many articles on them. I know what to feed my ants, I just fed them a drop of honey last Saturday 7/14/18 and I plan to feed them fruit fly's as the protein. But nowhere does it say how often to feed them. Should I feed them protein once a week and honey twice a week?
Thank you in advance
Michael

Re: Camponotus pennsylvanicus Feeding Schedule
Better to overfeed than underfeed! With honeu, they will drink it all, so when it is close to gone put more in.
With protein, its difficult. If you put some in and they check it out but ignore it, could probably cut back. If you put some in and they are crazy about it..you need to feed them more/more often
