Did you get it done? If so, could we see it?

Also, one thing I was always afraid of, is the sand collapsing on the ants and burying them. Is that possible?

And what about the humidity? How do you regulate that?

Yeah it turned out to fail..... Tons of escapes and yeah the whole sand thing was a problem.

Mostly because the water was causing the sillicone and hot glue to separate from the frame letting the ants out.

That's why it's wiser to first test such things with a closed setup and then if there are no ants on any unwanted place you can open the top.
