I need to make a formicarium that holds high humidity really well.

I have grout and plaster currently and I have the option to also purchase something else that may work better. I plan on experimenting with a few different designs [for science] and will post those as I test them out.

Has anyone ever built a formicarium that holds humidity well? What's the best material to use? What are some design considerations I should keep in mind.

I'm designing it for a high humidity loving subterranean Ponera Pennsylvanica.

Any advice is appreciated. Additionally, if anyone has ideas for making a humid but easily accessible out world, please let me know.

If you have something like a water tank that can be used to refill, that might be in my current opinion the best option.
