hybrid nest space

I recently bought a small lasius hybrid nest and I'm not sure how many lasius Niger ants it can hold I also have a lasius flavus colony and it getting pretty large so I need to know when I need to change the nest.

I recently bought a small lasius hybrid nest and I'm not sure how many lasius Niger ants it can hold I also have a lasius flavus colony and it getting pretty large so I need to know when I need to change the nest.

A Small Hybrid Nest holds a thousand or so ants. It seems small when you look at the nest empty but when ants move in, you will start to see that it actually can house a lot of ants. I think the Hybrid Nest, depending on how quickly your colony continues to grow, should last you at least a year or close to it. Congrats on the growing colony!
