How do you get aac or ytong? I can't find them in hardware stores.

You can't really find it in hardware stores. You have to buy a whole pallet of it online, for $1,000, and what's more it comes from Mexico!!!!!!
I would not recommend Ytong just for that reason. I would suggest buying fire brick. It is pretty much the same thing except they are fire resistant, and they come in single blocks! But, I have never tried it before.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

I don’t know much about fire brick but I think SolenopsisKeeper might know, you could send him a PM.
I use Plaster to make my nests, but I would not put Camponotus in there as they could probably chew right threw.
Here is what my plaster nests look like:https://photos.app.goo.gl/GQ3BLfp4Lu9XQhvN8
