DIY ant barrier

Hi there, I'm new to antkeeping.
I've started to make an outworld for my colony ant was wondering how to make the ant barrier.
What do you guys recommend I use?
I hear a lot of people using baby powder and 70% rubbing alcohol.
How do I make that? (Like amount of alcohol vs amount of powder)
And would it be safe to use handgel 70% alcohol instead of rubbing alcohol?
I couldn't find rubbing alcohol in my house so if not, i'd have to buy some.
Any alternatives I could do?
Many thanks.
Greetings from The Netherlands

I don't know if it has to be rubbing alcohol (I wouldn't try it), but I usually mix it half and half. An alterative is Vaseline but that does not work as well.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
