How should I heat the ideal tube? What’s your recommendation?

Try using google photos. I would use a heating cable for them.

Im having trouble getting my camponotus sensabanous to eat protein. I have tried spiders and fruit flies. Any thoughts?

If you can try finding crickets, that works pretty well, you can also try cooked chicken. How big is the colony? They might just not be hungry.

My colony prior colony had around 35 workers. Just stopped eating and eventually died off. This colony only had one worker and the queen and lots of brood. That’s why I offered one fruit fly. But I have another of twelve that don’t seem interested in protein either

You only need to feed a small colony protein maybe once every two weeks. It could also be that in the wild they would still be hibernating.
