Springtails in Ant Towers?

Springtails in Ant Towers?
My first Solenopsis Invicta colony is almost ready to move into their first formicarium, which is a small AC ant tower! I am planning on a rainforest habitat setup, and am concerned that bacteria and mold may quickly flourish due to the high humidity with moss, soil, etc. What do you think about establishing a springtail colony in the formicarium before adding my ants? Do they help much with keeping bacteria and mold down? Also will the fire ants bother them? Any help is much appreciated, as I would most likely order the springtails today if you guys recommend them! Thank you!
Re: Springtails in Ant Towers?
I would always recomend springtails to keep down the mold and bacteria.
The ants might try to bother them but most of them should survive, trive and multiplie.

My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
[Have a look at antmaps.org]

You should definitely add springtails and wait for them to adapt to their habitat. Also you can add isopods to keep down mold spreads
Ants I have-
camponotus compressus colony- the shadow warriors.
Pls just let me have a tetramorium colony

Also put dead insects on a toothpick so they can’t bring it in the nest.(Except fruit flies)
Also, you want to leave a dry spot for them to store food
When you accidentally reply to yourself…
