This is a homemade formicarium I made for one of my aphaenogaster rudis ant colonies I have. I love the way it came out. :)
26 colonies and counting. Ant love forever.

Looks great! Hope the colony thrives! Make sure they don’t pile up debris in the nest(I saw moss blocking other chambers to limit room, clever on your part)

I blocked off a few chambers for now because they've only got a few workers. As the numbers grow, I'll open up the chambers. The first 2 nests I did failed miserably. Broke the first one trying to drill the entrance and exit ports, and the second one I was still trying to get used to the new dremel I got to do this. Much bigger machine then my old one. So, it was a fun little journey. Now I'm gonna make 4 more today. Lol.

If you get really good, try to sell some on formiculture. People by cheap handmade nests there
