should i move my ants to a formicarium?

Hi,

I have had a Lasius niger colony for a month and a bit now but progress seems to be very slow with only one worker hatching in that time period.

The colony is currently 8 workers strong and not much happens in side the test tube. Should i move them to a formicarium or are there any other things i should try?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you :D.

This is a slow growing spieces, and no, I would wait for 20 workers(AT LEAST)
It should take a year for 100 workers
