Substrate
I'm considering getting the Ant Tower for my Camponotus ants, but I don't know what kind of substrate to get. I assume sand will work, but I'm worried it could collapse or be hard to dig in for the ants. Coconut-based soil is very common for reptiles, but I'm not sure how the ants would handle it. Any advice?

Re: Substrate
if you have it, a mix of coco peat soil, sand and bits of tiny sticks would be good
