I’m terrified of my ants larva!
When I got my new macro lens I checked out my queen... she had a medium larva and it was moving around a lot. I suddenly got terrified and never want to check on her. I’ve always had a secret fear of worms but that larva just took the cake. Also the larva can’t last 5 seconds withought the ant feeding it. When she is gone looking at the others the larva moves around and demands food. I am completely and utterly afraid.

AntsCanada compares his Black Panther larvae to "rabid meat eating worms". They tore at a cockroach leg with mouths wide open and literally lunged at the leg over and over again. Even I though it was a little gross. So there are a lot of ant larvae that act a lot grosser than yours does.
