New Myrmica colony

I captured a very young Myrmica colony with 2 workers. I believe they are Myrmica americana, yet I am not sure. I named the queen Quemadura Oscura (Dark Burn). Is their care relatively the same as Myrmica rubra, that I've heard so much about?

Caught another M.americana colony the way AntsCanada caught his. It had about 400 workers and 5 queens, yet 3 queens and 150 workers escaped when I was changing their setup and it came apart, spilling it's contents all over the floor.
That leaves 250 workers and 2 queens. The original colony had 400-500 workers. How old is it? Can they get as big as Myrmica rubra?

They seem to filling the test tube I gave them with dirt, and flooding it, so they moved into the tube. I will try and fill their outworld with dirt and make it a naturalistic setup. I have them in what Ants Australia calls a "tubs and tubes setup".

They don't seem to forage and just sit around inside the nest. The workers look gorged with honey so I think they're full.

I moved them to a test tube and only counted around 80 or so workers and 1 queen.
