The unveiling of an invasive genus in SD

That genus is Tetramorium. I am the first ant lover to make this publicized and I hope that I can catch a queen. BugGuide.net unveiled it, yet I doubt they are big on ants like we are.

most of or all of tetremorium is invasive to america that is the reason why you can not find it on antmaps in the native species section but I've been thinking about this and i have seen that tetremorium has found their place in nature here. some areas i can't even find tetremorium and others they are everywhere. I've mostly seen tetremorium around sidewalks and that is it.

Tetramorium hispidum and spinosum are considered native in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California according to Antmaps.
