Has anyone noticed that on the users active line on the main ACAF list it says Google (bot), Bing (bot), what are those?

Yep. I think it's just that google is on the page and so is bing.

I was wondering when someone would make a posting about this. LOL

Ok to put it simple what you see is something called a Web Crawler Bot. It's use to do inquires via search engines to make a web site more prevalent when people look up certain words, in this case AntsCanada, Forums, Ant forums, so forth. It helps people by making AntsCanada show up on searches in the first page or two. Most sites use them but when used on a forum it has to have user access so it look's like a user is logged in. Does that help explain it?

Definition: A Web crawler, sometimes called a spider, is an Internet bot that systematically browses the World Wide Web, typically for the purpose of Web indexing (web spidering). Web search engines and some other sites use Web crawling or spidering software to update their web content or indices of others sites' web content.
