Hi! Today is my first day on the Forum, so hi everyone! I need some advice. I have a gentlemen that is trying to sell me 3 Queen false honeypot ant ALA Winter ants. They have 3-4 eggs. My problem is I thought houses Queen ants together is a bad idea? Also would 3 Queens only lay 3-4 eggs? I know they are about to go dormant for the summer. He wants 65.00 for them. I just don't want to buy them and have a massive problem with Ants killing each other off. Any advice would be appreciated. FYI I am brand new at this and this would be my first colony. Thanks ahead of time for the advice!

Prenolepis imparis is known to have a polygyne strain, meaning the queens will cooperate to build their colony.
