Ant Room

I want to design my guest bedroom or my own bedroom into an ant room where I can keep/house all of my ants. How might I go about doing that? Any suggestions?

I don't know much about interior design, but my little brain says if you have a window, you can put a long shelf by it and put the enclosures there. If the entering door is roughly in the middle of a wall, you can put long shelf left and right of it and place the enclosures there. Or maybe just do how you want to cuz i don't have any other good ideas

Natural light? But ants are not too crazy about light...

You can't put ants in direct sunlight for too long, it will cook the ants.

You can have a table to put your enclosures on and drawer specially made for holding test tubes. If your colony is really big, you can even make a nest that runs through your whole room like what AntsCanada did with his black crazy ant and pharaoh ant colonies a long time ago. The room will be quite hot though as you can't install an air-conditioner.

By the window i meant like if you have a terrarium which has alot of plants so it would look good and uh plant would like light and uhhhh..

A lil room with shelves, one for feeder insects, a stand with a terrarium. The ant shelf would have heat lamps and a heating cable, wuth the heat lamps on a timer(Depends on sp for heat lamp rly).
