I am going to be on vacation until Tuesday. So if I have been answering some of your questions, I will not be able to for a little while. Good bye. :(
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

We too need a break. I'm thinking about going to some places where I can have adventures. I'm very excited for next month since I'll be do something new for me and enjoy my holidays with my friends. Things That Are Keeping Me, Sane, This Summer.
