How to add tubing with ants already in it. Please help

Hi I want to transfer my ants with tubing. But I have to drill a whole and I do not want my ants to get out while drilling the whole. I also do not want my formicariam to brake when drilling the whole. And if I do this how do I put my tubing in the hole without ants escaping?
Please help.

It doesn’t work, but what you could do is get another “nest” and drill a hole in it, then put the new nest connected to the outworld. Then, you could dump them in the outworld or if it’s big enough, just set the container in the outworld(How do you feed, is it like a tubs + tubes setup?)
