Hello From A 2016 Account

Took a bit of a hiatus, but glad to be back ;) . Going to college in the south east soon (North Carolina area), anyone have any good resources for the species that can be found and in that area? I know it will be more or less the same considering I am from New England, just curious in learning about anything interesting or informative.

Old timer account, nice! I have heard there is Camponotus Floridanus up there, but not according to ant web.

Hey, at least y’all have trachymyrmex up there also(Leaf cutter ant similar genus). My dream ant species(Found in my area never have found queens)

Would recomend antmaps.org and simply click on the place where you want to know where witch species live.

Good day y'all, new ant keeper here. Hoping to learn a lot from this forum. Reading the forum has greatly improved my ant keeping hobby( if that is a thing).
