Now I'm starting to wonder, is creating an account now different from the past?

I've changed it from the 3D Image captcha which is easily solved by bots to questions and made it that they have to put an X on the first digit. It was recommended by a forum where I asked for advice to put the X thing in since bots have trouble with this and as someone with enough programming knowledge I can tell that it's not an easy thing to do. I'm sure I would be able to find a way to do it but I'm way too lazy to do it just for the sake of it.
