My hen has a problem

Hello, I have a hen named Titina, she lives in her cage-house and although it sounds like animal abuse, it is quite large and can she scratch the ground, and everything. Anyway, lately Titina has been breaking the eggs of Sky, my sister's chicken and Titina's partner. We always find broken eggs.

Does anyone know why Titina behaves like this?

I have chickens myself and remember reading about that somewhere but I dont recall what it was. If you go to BYC (back yard chickens) there is a really good forum on there all about chickens and people on there respond really fast good luck
A prenolepis imparis colony with repletes and a big queen also 10 chickens and 1 annoying brother.

my questions would be, are you sure that it's that hen who breaks the eggs or is it another hen? Could it be some animal entering and then eating the eggs but not the chickens? What food do you provide your chickens with?

No, its Titina who eats the eggs my grandma and I saw her eating her eggs and also Sky´s eggs. I feed them with chicken food from the pet store, but also when there are some raw vegetables that we dont need we give it to them.

Hm. maybe try feeding them some dried mealworms. I know my parents feed them all sorts of things. Dried mealworms, bird seeds, fresh salads and probably more. Btw here is an article I found.

I love how people are talking about hen on an ant forum. (I have nothing against you)
It really gives it some variety lol
