hello
I want to buy camera and/or a magnifying lense to capture better photos of these super cool 6 legged creatures. I have seen many photos on this forum where people have really close, clear photos of ants and other things. that is why I also want to have a camera so I can show my friends how cool these insects look. if you have a recommendation you can write here.

Re: camera and magnifying lense recommendation
You can take fine photos with a regular camera, but if you want a lot of details, you need macrolense.Antloverhuman wrote: ↑Tue Jun 22, 2021 12:00 pmhello

If you have a phone or mobile device,
I use Xeno lense off Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/Xenvo-iPhone-Camera-Lens-Clip/dp/B01A6D2JVI
This is in USD, would probably be on a different Amazon site for India as USD is not used widely in India(I don’t think at least)
Here is example on formicuture: all photos using macro lense x15

This is no form of advertisement btw.

I use these lenses because real camera lense range from 200-1200$, which is expensive to only take pictures if ants as a hobby.SolenopsisKeeper wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 3:07 pmYou can take fine photos with a regular camera, but if you want a lot of details, you need macrolense.Antloverhuman wrote: ↑Tue Jun 22, 2021 12:00 pmhello
