What with happen if I give my Camponotus herculeanus queen a Myrmica rubra larvea I found?
I was looking around my property when I found a Myrmica rubra colony in my backyard. Knowing they are invasive I decided to dig up their nest for fun as I was going to wipe the colony anyway and in the process in found larvae. looking at it closely I wondered if I could give it to one of my Camponotus herculeanus queens as I just recently caught them. I just wanted to make sure it's OK if I do this because I don't want the larvae to kill the queen when it becomes a worker. At the same time, I don't even know if it will turn out to be a worker.

I would suggest not doing it, she will probably eat them XD.
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
[Have a look at antmaps.org]

She's most likely gonna eat them. If that's your goal. Then go ahead.
