Hello, I am new to ant keeping and I have the ant tower large. Up to recently my queen, workers(20ish) and brood lived in the the test tube with the water. A week back I bumped the test tube off knocking them all to the floor. I successfully collected everyone including the queen up and back into the tower but now they have all went into hiding in there sandy tunnels where I can't see them anymore (understandably)
My concern is they haven't been coming out as much anymore and are not to interested in the crickets anymore when I put them in. What can I do or is this normal since I disrupted them. I don't want to starve them too

They will not let themselves die by starvation, either they are not hungry or they have been eating without you knowing.
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
