Feeding Spider-Friend

I've recently gotten over my fear of spiders; well, just the small ones (< 1in.). Anyways, I have a small house spider in my bathroom and he seems to be pretty chill. He disappeared for a few days but he's back in action. I've heard these guys feed on small flies and house centipedes (earwigs), he's got a nice setup in the bottom corner but I'm concerned for my 8-legged friend because I don't think he's eating. I was considering different kinds of food that would be beneficial and I was thinking of throwing a droplet or two of a protein shake down there but I have no idea if he'll suck it up. Any Ideas?

Moth, capture a small live moth and put it in its web. Also name it. Something cool, like arachbud, or silkspinner, maybe bugbane.
