Alkaline Water

I have a Camponotus spp Queen and am going to be setting her up in a test tube/cotton ball setup, just like your AntsCanada video has.

My question is, if Alkaline ph9.5+ water is okay to use for her? I’d prefer not to use tap-water and only have the alkaline water on hand. Would that matter?
