I noticed that they are polygynous. This surprised me, and also gave me further insight as to why they are so successful.
"God made every kind of wild beasts and every kind of livestock and every kind of creeping things;" (including ants) "and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:25

I have read they are monogynos in their native lands, but are being found polgynos in some cases. I keep a colony with 3 fertile queens and somehow, an alate that lays male eggs.
